Sales Department

The Sales Department is the front door of Amreli Steels where all inquiries come in through customers. The objective of the Sales department is to process all inquiries in the minimum possible time so that our customers can have on time deliveries. It is also the driving mechanism for the wheel of production to keep turning 24/7.

With the automation of the whole process through an ERP (Electronic Resource Planning) system within Amreli, all inquiries are processed paperless, keeping in line with environment friendly norms of the company.

From the time the inquiry comes in the whole process moves electronically through the sales department where sales confirmations are booked and delivery orders are generated. The Delivery Orders then move to the Logistics department which processes the Orders and each specific size, length and tonnage is loaded and weighed on an electronic weighbridge located in the warehouse. On loading of the truck, the Delivery Challans are electronically generated and simultaneously and electronic gate pass is issued for the loaded truck to move out of the warehouse.

The trucks move to a third party weighbridge located nearby to the ASL warehouse, for reconfirmation of the load which is considered as final and acceptable by all customers.

Delivery Challans are forwarded to the Accounts for verification and bills are generated through the electronic system and passed on for dispatch to customers.
